I have a degree in translation (I graduated in January 2002 from Cologne University of Applied Sciences) in English and Spanish. My studies included a semester abroad at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid.
After graduating I worked for several years at the German Federal Office of Languages (language service of the German armed forces), where, following additional examinations, I was approved for the language combinations German-English, English-German and Spanish-German.

Following this I worked for a private translation agency in the above language pairs.
I have been self-employed as a translator since 2007.
